The prices of petrol and diesel have reached another record high. The state-owned Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has hiked the price of petrol by Rs 21 and diesel/kerosene by Rs 27 per litre. After the price hike, petrol will cost Rs 199 per litre while the prices of diesel and kerosene will cost Rs 192 per litre.According to NOC, even though the prices have reached a significant high, there is still a loss of Rs 13.52 per litre in petrol. Similarly, diesel has a loss of Rs 13.95 while kerosene has a profit of Rs 43.06 per litre respectively.These prices will be in effect from 12 am Monday, 20 June 2022.The price of cooking gas remains unchanged.
