Piaggio One Electric Scooter Range & Variant Details Revealed

Piaggio has released the specifications of the One electric scooter. Piaggio unveiled the One electric scooter in May 2021. And, the electric scooter was recently unveiled on the social media platform Tik Tok. The electric scooter will be available in three trims – One, One +, and One Active. Each of these variants will have the same design and features but will differ on the basis of their performance and riding range.The base trim, Piaggio One, comes with a 48V 1.8kWh battery pack, paired with a 1.2 kW engine that makes a claimed 85 Nm of torque. The top speed for the base variant is 55 kilometers per hour and the claimed range is 55km.  The One+ has the same motor, but the battery is increased to a 2.3kWh unit, and the top speed is 55 km/h. It can cover 100km on a single charge. Finally, the top-spec One Active has a 2.3kWh battery unit, paired with a 2kW motor that makes a claimed 95 Nm of torque and a range of 80 km.  All models have a charging time of 6 hours.The Piaggio One features a wealth of technological features, including a digital colour instrument panel with a sensor to adapt the background and luminosity to ambient conditions, full LED lights, a keyless start system, two motor maps.The electric scooter is a lightweight vehicle that is very easy to manage, with a comfortable riding position, a low seat, a flat roomy footplate, plus practical and robust pull-out footpegs for the passenger. It is also the only e-scooter in its category to provide a capacious compartment below the seat.The Piaggio One will be available in Europe in a few weeks.
