Protest Against High-Interest Rates In Dhangadhi

Sudur Pachimanchal Automobile Dealers Association, the provincial member of NADA under Province 7, has organized a peaceful protest program in front of the Chief Minister's office in Dhangadhi.Under the nationwide movement announced by the NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal (NADA), the Far Western Automobile Dealers Association too protested with placards and banners denouncing the unfavourable government policies.According to Pushkar Ojha, President of the association, the automobile business has not been eased due to the high-interest rates maintained by the financial institutions of Nepal. He added that businessmen will not be able to pay the interest, so necessary arrangements should be made to bring the current interest and premium rates under immediate control.NADA has completed the first phase of the movement through all its 7 provincial associations.
