Royal Enfield Electric Motorcycle Concept Image Leaked!

The first image of Royal Enfield's electric motorcycle concept, dubbed the Electrik01, has surfaced online.The electric motorcycle, which is still in its concept or rather a design study, features some fascinating retro-inspired design cues. The front girder fork setup which is usually seen on extremely vintage machines or custom builds is the main attention grabber of the Electrik01 concept. The girder forks seen on the bike do adhere to Royal Enfield's product brief which was filled with terms like ‘non-conformist’, ‘game changer’ and ‘lone wolf’.Similarly, other elements like the classical round headlight and a conventional fuel tank (only representative) follow the brand's neo-vintage/classic styling. Another interesting bit is the unique chassis with a section above the fuel tank and another below the battery pack.The bike is still very much in the early stages of its development with Royal Enfield calling it a QFD (Quality Function Development) concept. QFD is a structured approach to defining customer needs or requirements before converting them into specific plans to produce the product. So, its debut could take longer than you’d expect.
