Seres EV Inaugurates its New showroom in Lalitpur

Seres has strengthened its network footprint by inaugurating its secondshowroom in Thasikhel, Lalitpur. The authorized distributor of Seres EVs in Nepal, MAW Vriddhi AutoCorp, has partnered with Silver Moon Motors Pvt ltd for dealership in Lalitpur. The showroom will further enhance the brand’s reach and serve as a hub for enthusiasts and potential customers in the area to explore Seres' EV lineup.

The showroom inauguration was marked by the presence of industry leaders and key figures. Vishnu Agarwal, Managing Director of MAW group, Ford Hu, Country Manager of Seres , Bishnu Bhandari, Chairman of Silver Moon Motors  and Yasoda Laxmi Acharya, Director of Silver Moon Motors graced the occasion with their support.

Seres, a Chinese electric vehicle brand, recently made its debut in Nepal with the Seres 3 electric sub-compact SUV and the Seres Mini EV. MAW Vriddhi Autocorp, under MAW Group, is the sole authorised distributor of 'Seres' electric vehicles in Nepal.

Seres is a brand of electric vehicle marketed by Seres Group. Seres Group is one of the largest EV manufacturers in China and has been exporting to over 70 countries globally. It is famous for its popular DFSK and SERES brands. One of the most noteworthy aspects of Seres' journey is its strategic partnership with Huawei, a global leader in telecommunications and technology solutions. This collaboration has enabled the brand to leverage Huawei's expertise in connectivity, smart technology, and digital solutions to create a seamless and intelligent driving experience for its customers.

Seres 3: The Seres 3 is an electric subcompact SUV powered by a 52.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and paired with a 99 kW electric motor. The Seres 3 claims an electric range of 405 kilometres on a full charge (NEDC). The Seres 3 has a ground clearance of 190mm. The Seres 3 is priced at an introductory Rs 47.99 Lakh for the Comfort variant and Rs 49.99 Lakh for the Premium variant. Standard safety features include 6 airbags, lane-departure warning alarm, electric-brake force distribution, hill-descent control, hill ascend control, auto-hold, etc.Seres Mini EV: At Rs 13.99 Lakh, the Seres Mini EV has become the most affordable EV in Nepal. The Seres Mini EV is offered in two IP67-rated Li-ion battery packs - 13.8 kWh (Base and Mid variant) and 16.8 kWh (Top variant). The 13.8 kWh battery pack delivers a range of 180 km while the latter provides a range of 220 km. Similarly, peak power and torque stand at 25 kW/100 Nm and 30 kW/100 Nm each, respectively. The Seres Mini EV has a dimension of 3030mm x 1495mm x 1640mm (LxWxH)and a wheelbase of 1960mm. Similarly, the ground clearance stands at 140mm. Suspension duties are handled by MacPherson struts on the front and multi-link on the rear. Similarly, braking duties are taken care of by a front disc/rear drum setup. The Mini EV sits on 13-inch aluminum wheels.
