Suzuki Launches The New Alto With Enhanced Safety Features & Refreshed Design

With cumulative sales of over 3.7 million since launch in 2000, Alto has been a symbol of pride for Indian car users. Nearly 58% of Alto customers have chosen it as their first car purchase. Now, Maruti Suzuki has launched the refreshed Alto with enhanced safety features, new design, and a BSVI engine. The new Alto looks fresh, thanks to the new grille, sharper headlamps, newly designed bumper, and side fender.  The interior has been redesigned too. It now gets dual tone interiors and new AC ducts. The New Alto comes with a new infotainment system called Smart Play Dock. Customers can enjoy music, access calls, music, navigation and more on the Smart Play Dock with Bluetooth. Customer can also experience the convenience of keyless entry.[gallery size="full" ids="8557,8556"]New safety features include Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake Force Distribution System (EBD), Reverse Parking Sensor, Driver Airbag, Speed Alert System, and Seat Belt Reminder for both driver and co-driver. The new Alto also complies with the upcoming crash and pedestrian safety regulation.[gallery size="full" ids="8555,8554,8553"]The new Alto is powered by the same 796 cc three-cylinder petrol engine tuned for 47 bhp and  69 Nm of peak torque. The motor is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
