The long-range Tata Nexon EV has been christened as 'Nexon EV Max'. The long-range Tata Nexon EV Max which is expected to be sold alongside the existing model will go on sale on May 11, 2022, in the Indian market.The Nexon EV Max will get a 136 hp motor which is 9 hp more than the current motor. The Nexon EV Max will feature a larger battery pack (40kWh unit) and it could offer a claimed range of around 400 kilometres. The Nexon EV Max will also likely get a more powerful 6.6kW AC charger as opposed to the 3.3kW AC charger on the standard Nexon EV.
The long-range Tata Nexon EV Max will largely remain identical to the current model, save for the new alloy wheels. However, on the inside, it will come with an updated centre console, featuring a new rotary illuminated gear selector dial that shows you the mode you are in the middle. The Nexon EV Max will get an electronic parking brake and an auto-hold function. Expect a couple of additional features such as ventilated front seats, auto-dimming IRVM, an air purifier, cruise control, rear disc brakes, etc.The Nexon EV Max is expected to be priced around INR 20 lakh on road.
