Tata Nexon EV To Launch Tomorrow; To Be Offered In Three Variants

Sipradi Trading, the sole authorised distributor of Tata Motors in Nepal, is all set to launch its first electric car, the Nexon EV, tomorrow. The Nexon EV will be offered in three variants-XM, XZ+, and XZ+ LUX, and the Nexon EV is likely to be priced below Rs 43 Lakh. The Nexon EV will come with a warranty of 8 years or 1,60,000km (whichever is earlier) on battery and motor.The Nexon EV is the first vehicle based on Tata Motors' Ziptron technology that will spawn future electric cars from Tata Motors. The Nexon EV promises zippy performance, an ARAI-certified range of 312 km* (real driving conditions may vary),  fast charging capability, extended battery life, and class-leading safety features, says the company.Tata Motors will be setting up a complete EV ecosystem and introducing the most successful EV products, along with an attractive service package, warranty on the battery, charging infrastructure with state-of-the-art DC chargers at strategic locations across the country, and innovative home charging facilities to name a few.Nexon EV is equipped with a powerful and high-efficiency 127 bhp permanent-magnet AC motor powered by a high capacity 30.2 kWh lithium-ion battery. The motor produces 245 Nm of instant torque from a standstill, enabling Nexon EV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 9.9 seconds. The EV comes with best-in-industry dust and waterproof battery pack which meets IP67 standards.As far as the feature list is concerned, the Nexon EV has a 7-inch Harman infotainment system that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a semi-digital instrument cluster with the 7-inch TFT display, sunroof, auto AC with rear AC vents, etc.Also Read:Tata Motors Nepal Conducting An Extensive Testing Of Nexon EV Before Launch
