Tata Punch EV has been launched in Nepal at a starting price of 33.99 Lakh. The Punch EV will be available in both medium-range (MR) and long-range (LR) variants, in three trims – Empowered+ S MR (Rs 33,99,000), Empowered LR (Rs 36,99,000) and Empowered +S LR (Rs 38,99,000).
The Medium Range gets a 25 kWh battery pack to generate 60 kW of power and 114 Nm of torque while the Long Range variant is equipped with a 35 kWh battery pack that delivers 90 kW of power and 190 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in under 9.5 seconds. In terms of range, it offers up to 421 km as per MIDC (under Modified Indian Driving Cycle), with an estimated real-world range of 270-290 km.
Key features of the Punch EV include a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 360-degree surround-view camera, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system powered by Harman. The Punch EV will be available in five exterior colors.
Additional features include an air purifier, single-pane sunroof, cruise control, wireless mobile connectivity, and six airbags as standard across all variants. The Punch EV has also received a 5-star safety rating under Bharat-NCAP. The Punch EV offers a water-wading capacity of 350 mm and an unladen ground clearance of 190 mm.
To celebrate its launch in Nepal, Tata Motors Nepal has also introduced Tata.ev, a new brand identity focused on passenger electric vehicles.
