Ultraviolette has achieved a remarkable milestone by obtaining global certification for its Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 under the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) regulations. This makes Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 the first Indian electric motorcycle to meet UNECE standards.
This F77 Mach 2 motorcycle is now approved for road use under the L3e category, allowing it to be legally ridden in over 40 countries, including those in the European Union, and is available to A1 and A2 license holders across Europe.
Ultraviolette plans to expand its presence, with initial shipments to Germany and Turkey, followed by a wider European rollout. The company will also showcase the F77 Mach 2 at the upcoming EICMA event in Milan, Italy, from November 5th to 10th, with a launch price of €9,990.
In addition to its international expansion, the F77 Mach 2 is now available in Nepal, priced at an introductory rate of Rs 9.99 lakh. It features a robust 30kW motor that generates 40.2 hp and 100 Nm of peak torque. The motorcycle is powered by a 10.3 kWh battery pack, offering an estimated range of 323 km based on the Indian Driving Cycle (IDC), and comes with an impressive 800,000 km battery warranty.
