Yamaha Aerox 155 Launched In Nepal At Rs. 4.74 Lakh

MAW Enterprises, the authorized distributor of Yamaha Motorbikes and Scooters in Nepal, has launched the Yamaha Aerox 155 at Rs. 474,900.

The Yamaha Aerox 155 features a liquid-cooled engine, making it Nepal's fastest Scooter with a top speed of 120 km/hr. The Aerox 155 is a maxi-scooter that is powered by the same 155cc engine as the Yamaha R15 V4, but with a CVT gearbox. The Aerox 155 puts out 14.79 bhp @ 8000 rpm and a torque of 13.9 Nm @ 6250 rpm, making it powerful than any other scooter on sale in Nepal. For reference, the scooter's closest rival Aprilia SXR 160 has just 10.84 BHP and 11.6Nm of output.

The Aerox 155's 5.8-inch LCD instrument screen displays several features such as a speedometer, RPM, and VVA indicator, making it easy for riders to keep track of important information while on the road. Additionally, the Scooter comes equipped with Yamaha Y-Connect, which can be connected to the rider's smartphone via an associated app, allowing riders to track things like maintenance intervals, malfunction notifications, mileage, battery level, and parking location.

Despite its sporty design, the Yamaha Aerox 155 is quite spacious and comes with a practical 24.5-liter under-seat storage. It also offers a host of advanced technology, such as variable valve actuation (VVA), idle stop-start function aiding in fuel consumption, and front disc brake with ABS for enhanced safety.

The Yamaha Aerox 155 is available in three different colors: Racing Blue, Grey Vermillion, and Metallic Black  and customers can buy and book it in the official showrooms of Yamaha.
