If you're planning to get a new maxi-scooter- you need a big room for a new one. Yamaha Nepal has finally launched the NMax 155 maxi-scooter in the Nepalese market at a price of Rs 4,59,000. The Yamaha NMax 155 is a maxi-scooter that inherits the DNA of the company's MAX series, with sporty handling and styling while combining practicality.
The Yamaha NMax 155 is powered by the R15 derived 155cc-SOHC liquid-cooled, four-stroke Blue Core single-cylinder engine which delivers 14.8 bhp of peak power at 8,000 rpm and 14.4 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. The engine which is based on the Blue Core concept comes with VVA (Variable Valve Actuation).
Other features include a lightweight and high-rigidity frame that supports sharp and sporty handling, all-around LED lighting, a massive windscreen at the front, a LCD instrument panel which comes with a bar-type fuel gauge, speedo, clock and fuel economy data, a 13-inch tire that is specially developed for this model, dual-channel ABS and unique styling reminiscent of the MAX series.The Yamaha NMax 155 measures 1,955 mm in length, 740 mm in width and 1,115 mm in height. It has a 1,350 mm wheelbase and a ground clearance of 135 mm. Fuel tank capacity stands at 6.6 litres and the maxi-scooter has a wet weight of 127 kg. The NMax 155 scooter gets a telescopic fork at the front and twin shock suspension setup at the rear. Braking duties are handled by a 230 mm disc brake at both ends with a dual-channel ABS system.
