Yamaha Nepal
has added a second BS6 scooter to its portfolio after the
Fascino 125 FI BS6
. With an aim to capture the growing 125cc premium scooter segment, the company has launched the BS6 Yamaha Ray ZR Street Rally 125 FI at Rs 2,61,900.
The 2020 Yamaha Ray ZR Street Rally 125 FI BS6 gets a noticeable cosmetic upgrade when compared to the outgoing model. It now gets a Y-shaped LED position light, new front apron, brush guards, and new livery. In terms of feature-list, it gets a new digital instrument cluster, a Stop and Start system, Smart Motor Generator for a quieter start-up, Side Stand Engine Cut-off Switch, and a Unified Braking System. It now weighs only 99kg making it the lightest 125cc scooters available in Nepal along with the BS6 Fascino 125 FI.
The Ray ZR 125 FI gets the same BS6 125 cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine from the BS6 Yamaha Fascino 125 FI. This motor produces 8.2 PS of max power at 6,500 rpm and a peak torque of 9.7 Nm at 5,000 rpm. The scooter comes equipped with a telescopic fork at the front and a single shock absorber at the rear. Braking duties are done by a front disc/rear drum setup.
The new Street Rally 125 FI is available in two colours – Deep Purplish Blue Metallic and Sparkle Green.
