Zeekr has unveiled a teaser for the 9X Grand, its flagship SUV, which is set to launch in the Chinese market in Q3 2025 with a plug-in hybrid powertrain.
Positioned as a global ultra-luxury SUV, the 9X Grand will be the first to feature Zeekr's cutting-edge super electric hybrid technology. The model is scheduled to make its official debut at the Shanghai Auto Show in late April.
Founded in March 2021, Zeekr initially focused solely on battery electric vehicles (BEVs), similar to other major Chinese EV manufacturers. However, as market trends shift, most domestic EV brands, including Zeekr, have expanded their portfolios to include hybrid models alongside BEVs to appeal to a wider consumer base.
The 9X Grand will come equipped with Nvidia’s Drive Thor autonomous driving chip and will be offered in variants featuring an advanced electric-hybrid powertrain, with more details on this technology to be disclosed later.
As part of Zeekr’s "Grand family," the 9X Grand will join the Zeekr 009 Grand, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to delivering ultra-luxury experiences in the premium segment.
