2023 Tata Nexon EV Facelift Unveiled In India With 465 Km Range

The 2023 Tata Nexon EV, called the Nexon.ev, gets a completely redesigned exterior and interior design similar to the recently unveiled 2023 Nexon facelift, enhanced battery range and added features. The launch of the new Tata Nexon and Tata Nexon.ev in the Indian market is scheduled to take place on September 14, 2023.

The biggest update of the 2023 Nexon EV facelift is the Curvv-inspired fascia along with new alloys and connected LED tail lamps. The new Nexon.ev also gets a LED light bar connecting the DRLs. The new signature DRLs also act as a light guide to show the charge levels. The rear too gets a connecting light bar with a welcome and goodbye sequence. There’s also hidden rear wipers.

The cabin of the new Tata Nexon electric SUV resembles the design of the ICE Tata Nexon with a High-definition fully reconfigurable instrument cluster, free-standing cinematic 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Two-spoke Steering Wheel with illuminated logo and Touch-based Climate Control, Wireless Charger, Electric Sunroof, Air Purifier, a new 9-speaker JBL sound system with subwoofer, Cooled Glove Box, Ventilated Car Seats among other features.

The 2023 Tata Nexon,ev gets a new generation electric motor that’s lighter than before by 20 kg. As reported earlier, the Nexon.ev comes in two broad variants – Medium and Long Range. The Medium Range variant gets a 30 kWh battery pack with a 325 km ARAI-certified range. The Long Range, on the other hand, gets a 40.5 kWh with an ARAI-certified 465km range. It also gets vehicle-to-vehicle charging, vehicle-to-load charging facility and regenerative braking.

On the safety front, the Nexon.ev gets 6 Airbags as standard, Auto Headlamps, Rain Sensing Wipers, Electronic Parking Brake, Hill Descent Control and Hill Ascent control, ESP with iVBAC, Blind Spot View Monitor, 360 Surround View Camera System and more.
