Similarly, the company has also added the Scram 411 scrambler to the company’s lineup of motorcycles in Nepal. The Royal Enfield Scram 411 is based on the Himalayan and uses the same engine and chassis as the adventure tourer, but, offers a more on-road approach.

All-New Royal Enfield Classic 350:

One of the most significant upgrades is the new ‘J-Platform’ 349cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that replaces the 346cc UCE. The engine delivers 20.2 bhp of max power and 27 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The engine produces far fewer vibrations, as it has been equipped with a counter-balancer shaft.

In terms of styling, the new Classic 350 gets the distinct teardrop-shaped tank and the classic Royal Enfield motorcycle bears the distinct teardrop-shaped tank, and the signature Royal Enfield front that houses a new halogen headlamp along with the signature pilot lights.  The motorcycle also gets new, wider seats with soft-foam cushion padding and new handlebars for comfortable ergonomics. In terms of features, the new Royal Enfield Classic 350 gets a new digi-analog instrument cluster with an LCD info panel. However, it misses out on the Tripper navigation.

Royal Enfield has provided a major upgrade to the chassis too. The bike now sits on a double-downtube unit as compared to the single cradle construction on the outgoing model to provide better stability and refinement for the rider. In terms of suspension, it gets standard telescopic forks at the front and dual-spring rear shock absorbers. The bike gets a single disc brake at the front and a drum at the rear. The bike misses out on ABS.

Unlike the Himalayan, the Scram 411 gets a smaller 19-inch wheel at the front and ground clearance has been lowered to 200 mm in comparison to the ADV’s 220 mm. Similarly, it sports a headlamp cowl, a single-piece stepped seat, and a redesigned grab handle for a road-focussed look. The instrument panel is also new and consists of a single pod unit.
