Indian two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto has launched the new Dominar 400 with factory fitted touring accessories in the Indian market. The factory-fitted standard accessories include a tall visor, handguards, engine bash plate, leg guard, carrier + back stopper, navigation stay, USB port, and the saddle stay which comes as an option. These accessories strengthen the sports touring credentials of the new Dominar 400, says Bajaj Auto. The new Dominar 400 is priced at INR 2.17 Lakh.
Speaking about the launch of the upgraded Dominar 400, Narayan Sundararaman – Head of Marketing, Bajaj Auto Ltd., said "Dominar 400 has been able to create a strong following for itself and has become the preferred choice for city riders and long-distance tourers, alike. Customers have pushed the bike into long distances and challenging geographies with aplomb, which inspired us to strengthen the sports tourer credentials in the new Dominar. Basis interactions with Dominar riders, we have thoughtfully designed and smartly handpicked the touring accessories that don't just accentuate the style and tour-worthiness of the motorcycle but also amp up the rider's safety. These accessories are factory-fitted and will ensure that the riders will have the best touring experience."
The new Bajaj Dominar 400 continues to be powered by the same 373.3cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, 4-valve, DOHC, FI engine. The engine which churns out 39.4 bhp of maximum power and 35Nm of peak torque is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The Dominar sits on a beam-type perimeter frame. It comes equipped with 43mm upside-down forks with 135mm of travel up front and an adjustable mono-shock at the rear. Braking duties are carried out by disc brakes on both wheels with dual-channel ABS. The 17-inch alloy wheels are shod with a 110/70-17 tyre up front and a 150/60-17 unit at the rear. The new Dominar 400 is also available in two color options- Aurora Green and Charcoal Black.Also read:
