The base model for the Seal in Nepal will be the Dynamic RWD, equipped with a 61.4 kWh LFP Blade battery powering a single 150 kW electric motor, providing a range of up to 460 km (WLTP). The Premium RWD will join this variant, featuring a larger 82.5 kWh LFP Blade battery, claiming a range of 570 km (WLTP), and a 230 kW rear-mounted motor. The top-tier AWD Performance variant boasts the same 82.5 kWh battery, dual motors for all-wheel-drive, a combined 390 kW, and a range of up to 520 km (WLTP).

The BYD Seal boasts an elaborate design on the exterior, emphasizing its dynamic fastback shape. Moving to the interior, the minimalist design is complemented by features like a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel, a 15.6-inch rotatable central control screen, and a W-HUD (head-up display). The vehicle operating system is derived from BYD’s DiLink 5.0 system and the DiPilot advanced driving assistance system.

The BYD Seal accelerates from 0-100 kmph in 7.5 seconds and supports maximum AC charging (Type 2) of 7 kW, along with DC fast charging (CCS 2) at a maximum rate of 110 kW. Under fast charging, the battery can be replenished from 30% to 80% in 30 minutes. Additionally, it features Vehicle to Load (V2L) functionality.

Measuring 4800mm in length, 1875mm in width, and 1460mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2920 mm, the BYD Seal has a front trunk capacity of 50 litres and a rear trunk capacity of 400 litres. It rides on 18-inch/19-inch wheels, depending on the variant, and utilizes the e-Platform 3.0. The Seal will be available in 4 standard colors; Arctic Blue, Aurora White, Cosmos Black & Atlantis Gray.

BYD has expanded its presence in Nepal with a total of 12 showrooms, 9 service centers, and 15 charging points. Ongoing infrastructure network expansion is in progress across all three aspects. Cimex Inc. is providing the BYD Atto 3 and BYD Dolphin models in Nepal, catering to diverse customer preferences in the market.
