Changan Automobiles has decided to enter Nepal with MAW Vriddhi Autocorp as their exclusive partner. Changan is one of the top four automobile groups in China and the top-selling domestic Chinese automotive brand. Changan Automotive group sold more than 20 Lakh vehicles across 60 Countries around the world in 2020. Many Ford & Mazda vehicles sold and exported from China are manufactured by Changan Auto Group.

The company initially plans to launch sedans, pickup, and SUVs in the Nepalese market which will be followed by EVs in the future. MAW is the second-largest automotive group in Nepal, representing brands like Jeep, Skoda, JCB, MAN, Yamaha & Foton among others. With a very aggressive product portfolio that includes sedans, pick-up, SUVs & EVs including the award-winning UNI sub-brand, MAW Chairman, Mr. Vishnu Agrawal is very enthusiastic about Changan’s entry into Nepal.
