SPG Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. the sole authorized distributor for Chery Cars in Nepal has officially launched the Tiggo 8 pro which is a flagship model for the brand. Carrying a price tag of Rs. 99,50,000, the Chery Tiggo 8 PRO embodies Chery’s technology and comes packed with the combination of 1.6TGDI and 7DCT, both of which were listed in the top 10 list of the “China Heart” Ten Best Engines in 2019 in their respective category.

In terms of power, the Chery Tiggo 8 PRO is equipped with 1.6L Turbocharge Gasoline Direct-Injection (1.6TGDI) engine, and GETRAG’s 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (7DCT). On paper, the 1.6TGDI makes a maximum power of 145kW/197ps and a peak torque of 290 Nm. The Tiggo 8 PRO also brings cutting-edge technologies such as Chery iHEC (smart) combustion system and the intelligent start-stop (ISS) function which is perfectly matched with the 7DCT to bring outstanding acceleration and ultra-low fuel consumption. This allows the Chery Tiggo 8 PRO to accelerate to 100km/h in as little as 8.9 seconds, and the fuel consumption is as high as 14.7 kilometers per liter.

The Tiggo 8 pro body has a dimension of  (L*W*H)  of 4722×1860×1745mm. In terms of appearance, the Chery Tiggo 8 PRO is a new generation of family-style “Peak Grille” design concept, on which the matrix diamond-like front grille design represents a unique, three-dimensional and hard-edged visual effect along with the full LED headlamps with Integrated Dynamic Turning Signals. The full LED luxury lighting set is provided as standard for the whole family, and exclusive luxury leather seats. It is equipped with the 18” alloy rims which come with a Tyre Pressure monitoring system, memory-enabled ORVMs, stylish Led Brake Lights & Led Tail lamps with sequential turn signals, reshaping the flagship visual experience with artistic beauty and high technology. It has an impressive ground clearance of 196mm which makes it suitable for all Terrains.

Tiggo 8 pro HD floating center LCD screen has a resolution of up to 1920×720, HD floating center LCD screen in Tiggo 8 pro communicates with your phone as well as the instrument panel, displaying multimedia, driving information, and other functions. The combination of a mobile phone, an LCD instrument panel, and a high-definition touch screen creates a more comfortable, user-friendly, and safer driving experience, along with the wireless charger on the car. The eye-catching 12.3-inch instrument cluster, 10.25- inch infotainment system as well as 8-inch LCD air conditioner system technologically make a triple-screen interaction.
