Kia Nepal has commenced the bookings of the all-new EV6 electric crossover in the Nepalese market. The Kia EV6 will be launched during the upcoming NADA Auto Show 2023. The much-anticipated EV6 is expected to be priced between Rs 1.20-1.25 crore in our market.

The EV will be available in a 77.4 kWh battery pack only. The 77.4 kWh battery pack is paired with a 168 kW electric motor to produce  225 hp and 350 Nm in a  Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) configuration. The EV6 is also the first Kia to be based on the company’s advanced Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP). This innovative platform has enabled the EV6 to offer one of the most spacious interiors in its class, a driving range of up to 528 km (WLTP), and 800-volt ultra-fast charging technology that enables the vehicle to be charged from 10 to 80 per cent in just 18 minutes.

It’s an XC60-sized electric family car that can outrun a Lamborghini Urus in a drag race. With its broad bulging profile and high ground clearance, it looks like a hybrid between a hatchback, a sedan, and even a race vehicle. The roof drops down, the wings bulge purposefully, and the specifics are razor-sharp. Despite the EV6’s compact exterior dimensions, its 2,900mm wheelbase results in a cabin space similar to many mid-size SUVs.

In terms of convenience features, it gets Heated and ventilated Front Seats, 8-way Power Passenger’s Seat w/ 2-way Power Lumbar Adjustment, 12.3-inch Dual Panoramic Displays w/ Navigation, Dual-Zone Auto Climate Control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Meridian Premium Audio System w/ 14 Speakers, Smart Power Tailgate, etc.
