Kia Seltos Drives Kia Motors to 3rd Position in Nepal, Says Continental Trading Enterprises

Ever since its launch in the Nepalese market, the Kia Seltos quickly rose up the sales chart becoming a blockbuster hit within a year. Now, Kia has climbed to the number three position in Nepal, said Continental Trading Enterprises, the sole authorised distributor of Kia Motors in Nepal, in a press statement. Kia Motors has sold over 1000 units of the Seltos in the Nepalese market, further added the release.KIA Nepal, offers the Kia Seltos in ten variants and two BS6 engine options. It is available in two trims - GT-Line and Tech-Line. The base variant of the Kia Seltos has been priced at Rs. 49.90 lakhs and will top out at Rs. 66.90 lakhs for the Tech-Line trim. Similarly, the GT-Line trim is priced between Rs 71.90 Lakhs- 76.90 Lakhs. The Seltos is available in two engine configurations: 1.5-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel.The Sonet is available in 4 variants with prices starting at Rs. 35.90 lakhs. The base HTE variant is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that will come at Rs. 35.90 lakhs. Then there will be the HTX at Rs. 47.90 lakhs, the HTK+ AT coming at Rs. 49.90 lakhs and the top end GTX+ variant coming in at Rs. 57.90 lakhs, all of which will be powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine. As per the company, more than 250 units of the Sonet have already been sold since its launch in November.While the Seltos goes head to head against the Hyundai Creta, Renault Duster, and Nissan Kicks, the Sonet rivals the likes of Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, and Ford EcoSport, and Mahindra XUV300.
