Very much in Duke fashion, the 2024 KTM Duke 250 gets sporty and aggressive styling with a new LED headlight and daytime running lights, a sculpted fuel tank with prominent tank extensions, a split-seat, and the new-gen 390 Duke-inspired underbelly exhaust. The new trellis frame and a die-cast aluminium sub-frame are also a notable upgrade.

The wheelbase is slightly longer, and this paired with the new frame geometry promises better ergonomics, stability, and handling. The ground clearance has also increased to 176mm compared to the 151mm of its predecessor.

Upgrades to the 2024 KTM Duke 250 also come in the form of new electronics and features such as the quick shifter, ride-by-wire, and slipper clutch. It also has a five-inch LCD with Bluetooth connectivity.

Up front, you get WP Apex big piston USD front forks paired with a WP Apex offset monoshock in the rear. The rear shocks are preload adjustable and provide 150mm of travel. Stopping duties are undertaken by the 320mm front discs and 240mm rear discs. You also get dual-channel ABS with SuperMoto ABS.

KTM has equipped the 250 Duke with a new LC4c 249cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine mated to a six-speed gearbox which now produces 31PS and 25Nm of torque. This is a 1PS and 1NM increase from the older model.

The upgraded version will continue to duke it out with its rivals mainly the Yamaha FZ25 and Suzuki Gixxer 250. With 50 units delivered at the event to customers, the Duke 250 GEN 3 2024 is starting on the right foot.
