Maruti Suzuki has unveiled detailed footage of the Fronx undergoing crash tests at its testing facility, with glimpses of the Brezza also being subjected to such tests.

The recently unveiled internal crash test footage of the Maruti Suzuki Fronx offers an insider’s perspective into the assessment and validation procedures undertaken before the introduction of any Maruti vehicle. This behind-the-scenes glimpse provides insights into the meticulous processes employed by the Indian carmaker to ensure the safety and reliability of its vehicles before they reach the market.

Maruti Suzuki tests its cars at its very own crash test facility, closely evaluating the vehicle’s safety features with the help of dummies that replicate the impact on actual human beings. Each car undergoes more than 50 crash tests, assessing factors such as airbag deployment, seat damage, and effects on interior components.

The video showcases frontal impact tests, side impact tests, and frontal-offset impact tests. The footage also elucidates the crumple zone, strategically designed to deform during collisions.

Notably, Maruti Suzuki has submitted three cars for Bharat NCAP crash tests.
