Paramount Motors, the sole authorised distributor for MG Motor in Nepal, has launched a new long-range variant of its MG4 electric hatchback, the 99 kW MG4 EV Luxury variant, for Rs 49.99 Lakh. The MG4 EV will now be available in two trims – Comfort (Rs 41.49 Lakh and Luxury (Rs 49.99 Lakh)

The 99 kW MG4 EV luxury trim will be available in a 64 kWh battery pack to deliver a WLTP range of 440 km. The Luxury trim comes In a single-motor, rear-wheel drive configuration. MG also offers the MG4 EV in a smaller 51 kWh battery pack with a 99 kW electric motor. In terms of charging, the MG4 EV supports up to 150kW DC charging.

The design of the MG4 EV is sharp with some crossover design cues. While the exterior is sharply styled, the interior is rather minimalistic. The dashboard has sleek, horizontal lines, with two floating screens for the infotainment and the instrument cluster as the focal point. The centre console, which stands out with a rotary dial and wireless charging pad, is an intriguing addition. The MG4 has features like a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, and ADAS, among others.

Dimension-wise, the MG4 EV is more or less similar to the more familiar ZS EV SUV, but the MG4 EV comes in a more fun hatchback avatar. It measures 4287mm long, 1836mm wide and 1504mm high. It has a wheelbase of 2705mm and a boot capacity of 363 litres.
