Velocity Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of MV Agusta Motorcycles, is all set to launch the uber-exclusive MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR LH44, the only one in South Asia, at the 2019 NADA Auto Show. The Brutale 800RR LH44 is a fourth limited-edition model in collaboration with five-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton. Only 144 bikes will be made, each with Hamilton’s race number “44”.
MV Agusta says the Euro 4 inline-three-cylinder engine has “undergone extensive technical updating”. The horsepower remains same at 140hp with a top speed of 244km/h. It also has a compact and lightweight two-channel ABS 9 Plus that features Rear Wheel Lift-up Mitigation to control the pressure on the front brake and avoid rear wheel lift-up.
The Brutale 800 RR LH44 gets a black, red, and white paint scheme with graphics including Hamilton’s logo and race number 44. MV Agusta claims to have built certain components with rare materials. This includes the specially-designed carbon fiber components and a ceramic-based coating. Components such as the brake and clutch levers, as well as fluid reservoir caps, are machined from lightweight alloy billet. The tank cap, engine oil filter cap, clutch cover guard and alternator guard are all CNC-machined.
Velocity Pvt. Ltd. has been operating in Nepal since 2017. With over 20 MV Agusta Motorcycles on the Road, Velocity has introduced the latest 2019 range of motorcycles such as the Sports Touring – Turismo Veloce 800, Super Sport – F3 675, and the Hyper Naked – Brutale 800.
