The new BS6 Kwid will only be available in one variant, the top-end RXT (O) which gets all the bells and whistles that you will ever need.  This trim will be available in both Manual and Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) gearbox options.Renault will introduce the top-of-the line Climber variant later.

The new Kwid is longer than the outgoing model and gets a higher ground clearance of 184mm. It gets a refreshed face with its split headlamp setup with LED DRLs that keeps up with the latest trends while the new LED detailing on the tail lights is a premium touch.

The Renault Kwid gets new and thoughtful features such as all 4 power windows, bigger 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, part LED digital instrument cluster, sporty steering wheel, and ample boot space. The new Kwid also comes big on safety features with dual front airbags, ABS & EBD with Brake Assist, and rear parking sensor with reverse camera.

The Kwid is 3731mm long, 1579mm wide, 1474mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2422mm. A wider body normally results in better shoulder room and a higher roof makes ingress & egress easier. A longer wheelbase usually results in more cabin space. It has a boot space of 279 litres.  A larger boot allows you to carry more luggage. The new Kwid rides on 165/70 R14 tyres size and has 28 litres fuel tank capacity.

The new Renault Kwid is available with a more powerful, 1.0-liter, BS6 compliant engine that makes 67 BHP and 91 Nm of torque. The hatchback gets several active and passive safety features including Anti-Lock Braking System with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (ABS with EBD), Driver airbag and Driver & Co Driver Seat belt reminder, speed alert, standard across all variants.

The new Renault Kwid is priced at Rs 24.99 Lakhs and you can book one here
