SPG Automobiles, the exclusive authorized distributor for Omoda vehicles in Nepal, has announced that over 150 units of the Omoda E5 crossover have been delivered in the Nepalese market since its introduction. As per the company, it has also received over 400 bookings for the Omoda E5 electric crossover within just three months of its official launch.

Sharda, Country Director of Omoda Nepal, Mr. Song Huaifu, SPG Automobiles Director Mr. Gaurav Sharda, Group President for Automobile Mr. Dhiren Tamang along with the various guests and media personnel attended the event.

The Omoda E5 is equipped with a 61 kWh lithium iron phosphate blade battery pack, providing a range of 430 km based on the WLTP standard. Powered by a front-mounted 99 kW electric motor, the Omoda E5 delivers 340 Nm of maximum torque. Using an AC charger (11 kW charging pile), the E5 can charge from 30% to 80% in just 4 hours, while DC fast charging (80 kW charging pile) achieves the same in a speedy 28 minutes.

The Omoda E5 is a 5-seater and boasts a length of 4424mm, a width of 1830mm, and a height of 1558mm. In terms of ground clearance, it measures 180mm. Similarly, the wheelbase stands at 2630mm.

The Omoda E5 EV showcases a futuristic design concept, characterized by a sporty “X” shaped front face and dynamic body lines on its exterior. The rear of the vehicle adopts an upturned design, conveying a dynamic stance. Equipped with LED Projector headlamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, an electric sunroof, and electric ORVM, among other features, the E5 will be offered in seven colors: White, Aquatic Green, Black, Grey, Red, Silver, and Blue.

The event concluded with a special key handover session to the Omoda customers by the honourable chief guest Mr. Chen Song.
