Omoda E5 Launched in Nepal with a 430 Km Range at Rs 59.49 Lakh

SPG Automobiles Pvt. Ltd has introduced the Omoda E5 electric crossover in Nepal, featuring an extensive 430 km range on a single charge, all at an introductory price of Rs 59.49 Lakh.

The Omoda E5 is equipped with a 61 kWh battery pack, providing a range of 430 km based on the WLTP standard. Powered by a front-mounted 99 kW electric motor, the Omoda E5 delivers 340 Nm of maximum torque. Using an AC charger (11 kW charging pile), the E5 can charge from 30% to 80% in just 4 hours, while DC fast charging (80 kW charging pile) achieves the same in a speedy 28 minutes.

The Omoda E5 is a 5-seater and boasts a length of 4424mm, a width of 1830mm, and a height of 1558mm. In terms of ground clearance, it measures 180mm. Similarly, the wheelbase stands at 2630mm.

The Omoda E5 EV showcases a futuristic design concept, characterized by a sporty “X” shaped front face and dynamic body lines on its exterior. The rear of the vehicle adopts an upturned design, conveying a  dynamic stance. Equipped with LED Projector headlamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, an electric sunroof, and electric ORVM, among other features, the E5 will be offered in seven colors: White, Aquatic Green, Black, Grey, Red, Silver, and Blue.

Complementing its futuristic exterior, the Omoda E5 features a contemporary interior that includes a 24.6-inch dual screen, premium Sony speakers, multicolored ambient lighting, smartphone connectivity with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless phone charger, and ventilated seats, along with dual-zone automatic AC, among various other amenities.

Moreover, the Omoda E5 incorporates an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), encompassing features such as lane departure warning and prevention, blind spot detection, emergency lane keeping, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, front collision warning and autonomous emergency braking, as well as hill start assist, hill descent control, and other safety features.
