Let’s start from the exterior, the Kushaq is a handsome looker with rugged bits on the body to add some presence on the road. The Kushaq looks like the younger brother of the Karoq and we quite like it. The car gets LED headlights and beautifully finished alloy wheels that are one of the best in the segment.

The inside of the Kushaq feels even better than the outside. The quality of materials is good and the finishing is great. You get the dual-spoke steering wheel that is seen on much more expensive Skoda vehicles. The seats are comfortable and hug you properly during the drive. The rear seat is also spacious and we think seating three on the back will be easy and comfortable.

You also get a sunroof to further liven up the cabin. Powering the Kushaq is a 1.0 – liter TSI engine making 115 PS which makes the Kushaq one of the most powerful in the segment. During our drive, the Kushaq picked up speed quickly and with confidence. The manual gearbox too has great gear ratios and short throws making the drive fun. The speed bumps on our little test track were handled easily without sending feedback into the cabin.

Stopping duties on the Kushaq are carried out by discs at the front and drums at the back. One thing to note in the Kushaq is that the handbrake is placed over on the passenger side of the console, where you usually find the handbrake on other cars, here in Kushaq you’ll find cupholders which means you’ll have a reach a little farther to get to the handbrake.

The Kushaq will be available in 3 trims; Active, Ambition and Style, and 5 variants – Active MT, Ambition MT, Style MT, Ambition AT, and Style AT.  Scroll below for the pricing of the Skoda Kushaq in Nepal.
