The popular Tata Nexon EV is celebrating its first anniversary in the Nepalese market today. In order to accelerate the adoption of EVs in Nepal, Tata Motors – India’s leading EV manufacturer, in partnership with Sipradi Trading (the sole authorised distributor of Tata Motors in Nepal), launched the Nexon EV in Nepal in July 2021.

Since its launch a year ago, the Nexon EV has consistently grown in popularity to become Nepal’s best-selling electric vehicle, commanding a major portion of the market share, with more than 2000 bookings. The popularity of the Nexon EV in Nepal can be attributed to its performance, affordability, design, class-leading safety features, largest and widest charging infrastructure, and a world-class service network. On top of that, the Nexon EV owners in Nepal can also benefit from the EZ App which is Nepal’s 1st and only Smart EV Charging App.

To accelerate EV adoption, Sipradi Trading has established a robust process for installing a home charger at the residence of every Nexon EV customer. Sipradi has the largest network of 16 DC Fast Chargers (compatible with Nexon EV). To date, the company has set up more than 120 AC Charging points in most public spaces such as hotels, hospitals, banks, malls and restaurants.

To mark the occasion of the first anniversary of its Nexon EV, Sipradi along with Tata Motors is also organising several interesting engagement initiatives for customers and enthusiasts to enjoy and experience the Nexon EV even better.
