The EV3 Standard model is offered exclusively with a 58.3kWh battery, while the EV3 Long Range variant is fitted with an 81.4kWh battery. Both models utilise a 150kW/283Nm electric motor, which enables a best 0-100km/h acceleration time of 7.5 seconds. The EV3’s maximum speed is 170km/h. The EV3 Long Range provides an estimated range of up to 600km (WLTP).

Regarding styling,  the Kia EV3 has a bold and confident look. The front features vertical headlamps at the edges, giving it a wide, assertive stance. Similarly, Kia’s new, robust Tiger Face design is showcased with the latest Star Map signature lighting concept.

From the side, the EV3 has a muscular appearance. Its long, sleek roofline flows into a hatchback-style tailgate, highlighting its technical design.  The rear design completes the EV3’s high-tech look. A thick black trim line connects the sturdy C-pillar to the dynamic roofline while the geometric rear lamps integrate with the rear glass, framing a tailgate inspired by the Tiger Face Star Map front lighting. The EV3 ‘GT-line’ expresses an even more rugged and adventurous appearance.

The EV3’s interior is spacious, comfortably seating five people. The EV3 also emphasizes sustainability, using recycled fabric on the dashboard and door trims. Recycled PET, one of the most easily recycled plastics, is used in the seats, headliner, door armrests, garnish, floor mats, and luggage board.

The interior features a nearly 30-inch widescreen display, which includes a 12.3-inch cluster, a five-inch air-conditioning panel, and another 12.3-inch AVN display. It extends to the dashboard’s centre, allowing the front-seat passenger access to entertainment and navigation features. The center console includes a sliding table and storage space.

The compact EV also offers the largest luggage space in its class with a 25-liter front trunk and a 460-liter rear load capacity. The EV3 is the first model to benefit from Kia’s new i-Pedal 3.0 regenerative braking technology. With the EV3, Kia is the first manufacturer to bring Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) charging to the compact EV SUV segment.

The EV3 will be introduced first in Korea in July 2024, followed by its European launch in the year’s second half. Kia has plans to further expand the sales of EV3 into other regions, with subsequent launches to be expected after the European market entry.
