Jagdamba Motors TVS, the sole authorised distributor of TVS Motor Company in Nepal, has launched the all-new TVS Apache RTR 160 4V FI Special Edition in Nepal at Rs 3,74,900.

The TVS Apache RTR Series is one of the most successful motorcycle brands in Nepal in the naked sports category with a strong customer base. This new special edition variant of the Apache RTR 160 4V FI comes with both visual and mechanical enhancements and boasts several pioneering features not found in the standard model. It sets a new benchmark for power and performance, coupled with segment-first technology features such as ride modes for all weather and terrain conditions, and TVS SmartXonnect Bluetooth connectivity.

The noteworthy features include three distinct riding modes: Urban, Sport, and Rain.  In Urban and Rain modes, the maximum speed is restricted to 103 kmph, while in Sport mode, it can reach up to 114 kmph. TVS is also providing SmartXonnect Bluetooth connectivity for added convenience. It also features an in-built First-in-segment GTT Technology – “Glide Through Traffic” capability for low-speed urban riding and enables an extremely smooth and controlled ride.

In terms of aesthetics, it gets alloy wheels with a striking red and black finish, complemented by a revamped seat featuring the same colour scheme. The bike also features an updated LED headlamp with a new LED Daytime Running Lamp. Braking is managed by a 270mm petal disc at the front and a 200mm petal disc at the rear. It retains its suspension setup with telescopic forks in the front and a monoshock in the rear. The motorcycle now sports a new ‘Bullpup Exhaust,’ contributing to a 1 kg reduction in weight. Additionally, it introduces adjustable brake and clutch levers, a first-in-segment feature.

Powering the bike is a 159.7cc, oil-cooled, fuel injected, SOHC engine that delivers an impressive power output of 17.30 bhp at 9,250 RPM, setting a new standard in its class. It also generates a peak torque of 14.73 Nm at 7,250 RPM and is paired with a five-speed gearbox for smooth transmission.
