Chery Tiggo 4 Pro Launched In Nepal At 46.20 Lakh; Variants & Features Explained

SPG Automobiles Pvt Ltd, a company under Sharda Group, the newly appointed authorized distributor for Chery Automobile in Nepal, has officially launched the Chery Tiggo 4 Pro compact SUV in the Nepalese market at a starting price of Rs 46.20 Lakh.

The Tiggo 4 Pro is available in three variants – Tiggo 4 Pro 1.5L (Manual) – Rs 46,20,000, Tiggo 4 Pro 1.5L (CVT) – Rs 52,50,000 and Tiggo 4 Pro 1.5T ‘Turbo’ (CVT) – Rs 58,40,000 Lakh.  The first two variants get a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine while the turbo variant gets a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine. The naturally aspirated motor generates a power of 85 bhp and max torque of 142 Nm, and the turbocharged engine generates a max power of 108 bhp and max torque of 210 Nm. The company claims a mileage of 6.8litres/100 km.

The New Tiggo 4 Pro has a class-leading 4318mm-long body, 2610mm long wheelbase, a width of 1830mm and a height of 1670mm to make city cruising and long highway trips comfortable and enjoyable. The ground clearance of the Tiggo4 pro is 200mm & the boot space capacity stands at 340 Liters. Likewise, there are as many as 34 storage spaces to meet various storage needs of passengers.

The Chery Tiggo 4 Pro is an appealing offer. The compact SUV gets a muscular stance which is complemented by sculpted bodywork. The new Tiggo 4 pro gets a new front face with a diamond intake grille, crystal lens LED headlights with G-type DRLs and a muscular bonnet. The front end also gets LED fog lamps and faux silver skid plates.  The car is also equipped with an electric sunroof.

The side profile of the Tiggo 4 Pro is characterized by flared wheel arches with plastic claddings, 17-inch large aluminium alloy wheels with a 5-spoke mirror design and red brake calipers, and roof rails. The sharp bodylines are neatly integrated with the taillamps to lend a brawny look. The rear end of the Tiggo 4 Pro sports LED tail lamps connected by a chrome slat, high-mount stop lamp, shark-fin antenna and faux exhaust vents. The compact SUV is available in 6 different colours: ICX Blue, Jewel Red, Nasdaq Silver, New Khaki White, Celadon Ash, and Carbon Crystal Black.

The Tiggo 4 Pro gets an all-black interior with silver inserts. A large 10.25-inch floating infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto takes the centre stage of the spacious cabin. You also get a three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel with multimedia control, a 7-inch LCD instrumentation panel, push-button start, PM2.5 air filter, rear armrest with storage spaces and second row AC vents. The driver’s seat is equipped with a six-speed electric adjustment function. The compact SUV also comes loaded with a segment-first PEPS (Passive Entry Passive Start) keyless entry system that automatically unlocks/locks the car when approaching and leaving the vehicle.

The Tiggo 4 Pro comes with safety features such as 6-airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Traction Control System (TCS), Emergency Brake Assist (EBA), Electric Parking Brake with Auto Hold, Roll Stability Control, Hill-Start Assist, Direct Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and windows with an anti-pinch feature.

The Chery Tiggo 4 Pro rivals the likes of the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, and Nissan Kicks in the Nepalese market.
