When it comes to the mechanical aspect, the Mahindra XUV 3XO has maintained all the engine options from the previous model (XUV 300). It is offered in a 1.2-liter NA petrol, 1.2-liter turbo-petrol, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. Each engine can be paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, and there’s an additional option of a 6-speed AISIN automatic transmission for the petrol engines and 6-speed AutoSHIFT+ for the diesel versions. Moreover, the SUV offers custom drive modes—Zip, Zap, and Zoom—particularly in the Petrol Automatic variants.

Safety is a priority with high-strength steel and 35 standard safety features. The XUV 3XO is designed to achieve the highest safety rating, with features like a 360-degree surround view system, Electronic Stability Control, and Level 2 ADAS for enhanced driving assistance. The vehicle comes with six airbags, four disc brakes, and seat belt reminders for all seats, ensuring comprehensive protection. It retains the powertrain options from the previous model, including petrol and diesel engines with manual or automatic transmissions.

Features include twin HD screens, wireless Android Auto & Apple Carplay, panoramic sunroof, and built-in Alexa. Unique additions are a USB-C charging point, an Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold, and a Harman Kardon Premium Audio system.
