The lightweight Rage+ and Stream weigh 600kg with a battery and have a gross vehicle weight of 960 kg. For a smoother ride, the vehicle uses a low rolling resistance 10-inch tyre. Similarly, both vehicles come with a minimum ground clearance of 175 mm.

Both the OSM Rage+ and OSM Stream can be charged conveniently at home in under 4 hours. A full charge offers a range of 120 km for both three-wheeler cargo (Rage+) and passenger (Stream).

Commenting about the launch of Rage+ and Stream in Nepal, Vivek Sikaria, the MD of MAW Vridhi said, “The launch of Rage+ and Stream in the Nepalese Market will fulfil the evolving desires of consumers who are considering sustainable and emission-free vehicles.”

Similarly, speaking about the scope of growth in the Nepalese market, Uday Narang, Founder Chairman, Omega Seiki Mobility, said, “The Nepalese government has been proactive in dealing with vehicular air pollution by introducing a target of electrification of the sector by the year 2031. Incidentally, the problem of air pollution has gripped Nepal so much that 60% of Nepal’s air pollution traces its origins to the transportation sector. Omega Seiki Mobility wants to be a part of the government’s fight against pollution and will introduce state-of-the-art, accessible electric vehicles which will make the whole of Nepal, a clean, green, and sustainable nation.”

Introducing the OSM Rage+ and OSM Stream to the Nepalese media, Deb Mukherji, Managing Director, Omega Seiki Mobility, said, “OSM’s range of EVs is a match made in heaven for Nepal. With rising fuel prices, it is becoming increasingly non-economical to drive petrol- and diesel-powered three-wheelers in the country. The low-running cost of the Rage+ and Stream will be beneficial for the operators. Also, both our products are fitted with an automatic transmission which adds comfort to the drivers. Further, with the powerful Boost mode, drivers will also find maneuvering the hilly terrain a breeze.”

Talking about the products, Vivek Dhawan, Director, Sales, Marketing, and Service, said, “After rising to the pinnacle of the Indian Electric three-wheeler cargo segment, OSM is introducing India’s most loved Electric three-wheeler to Nepal. The Critically acclaimed product has been designed, developed, and manufactured in-house by OSM. The Nepal market is sitting at the cusp of a revolution with EV volumes rising seven-fold to over 1,800 units in the last fiscal. I am sure that the Nepalese citizens will love the versatility of OSM vehicles and will accept them with savings, and a feeling of pride for carrying the civic duty towards the environment.”
