Shangrila Motors Starts Handing Over the New Citroen eC3 EV

Shangrila Motors Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Citroen vehicles in Nepal, has started handing over the Citroen eC3 electric cars to the customers.

The eC3 electric hatchback features a 29.2kWh battery pack for a claimed ARAI-rated range of up to 320km. The electric hatchback uses a 29.2 kWh battery pack and a 3.3 kW onboard AC charger. It powers a front-mounted electric motor that develops 57 bhp and 143 Nm. The eC3 can accelerate from 0-60km/h in 6.8 seconds while the top speed is capped at 107kmph. It takes 10.5 hours to charge the battery using a home charger, but it takes just 57 minutes to charge from 10-80% using a DC fast charger.

Also, the company has claimed that the battery life will not be affected even if it is charged several times with the DC fast charger. The company has given a battery pack warranty of 7 years or 140 thousand kilometers on this car. Similarly, the electric motor given in it has a warranty of 5 years or 1 lakh km.

The Citroen eC3 is available at the “La Maison Citroën” showroom in Thapathali and will be available in Birtamod, Itahari, Biratnagar, Narayan Gadh, Butwal, Pokhara, Nepalgunj, Dang and Dhangadhi showrooms after a week.

In the Nepalese market, the Citroen eC3 is available in two variants: Live (Rs 32.99 Lakh) and Feel (Rs 34.99 Lakh).
