To mark the occasion of International Women’s Day, Super Soco held an electric bike rally on March 6 2022 under the theme of “Soco for Empowerment”. The main objective of the event was to celebrate the indomitable spirit of women and raise awareness about Electric Vehicles. This is crucial, especially in the wake of rising fuel prices in Nepal and the ever-increasing threat of climate change from carbon emissions.

The event was graced by the likes of Sandhya KC, Miss Glam World Nepal 2022- Irina Shrestha, and Miss Earth Nepal 2020-Supriya Shrestha as well as some Super Soco riding enthusiasts.

As a first-time rider of Super Soco, Irina shared her experience about her ride, the Super Soco CPx, “It was Super Comfortable. I found its features advanced and easy to use.” Stressing on the need to switch to EVs, she said, “Not using fuel will indeed make a tremendous impact towards a carbon emission-free Nepal. Global warming is at an all-time high and if we don’t make the change now, then when?”

When asked what was the one reason that would make Supriya switch to an EV, she said “It made her feel like a loyal child of Mother Earth.” She also added that EVs would change the picture of mobility in Nepal with their considerably lower fuel costs along with close to zero emissions.

Super Soco is a brand under D-Lifestyles Pvt. Ltd. With their new electric two-wheeler brand Super Soco, they seek to spark a movement among Nepalese consumers to EV commutes and bring the change we all wish to see.
