The upcoming Tata Punch EV will largely resemble its ICE sibling. It is expected to be more feature-rich than its petrol variant. The spy images reveal that it will get disc brakes on all four wheels and an electric parking brake. Similarly, the interior shot reveals the drive selector from the Nexon EV Max while it continues the same 7-inch touchscreen as the ICE version.

The Punch EV will be based on the company’s ALFA platform. Coming to the powertrain, it will get two battery pack options, the same as the Tigor EV. The Punch EV could offer a claimed range of around 300km to 350km. The Tata Punch EV will sit between the Tigor EV and Nexon EV in the carmaker’s EV lineup. The Punch EV is expected to get two variants: Standard and Long Range. The former could use the Tigor EV’s powertrain while the latter might get the base-spec Nexon EV Prime’s powertrain.

The Tata Punch EV is expected to launch during the upcoming festive season.
