Yezdi Scrambler: Engine

Powering the Yezdi Scrambler is a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that develops 29.1 BHP and 28.2 Nm of torque. Yezdi promises that the combination of the flat torque curve and short wheel base will translate to loads of fun on the road. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox along with a slip-and-assist clutch. It also gets stylish twin exhaust exits, despite only featuring a single exhaust port at the cylinder head.

Yezdi Scrambler: Design

The Yezdi Scrambler dawns the rugged but classic scrambler design. Along with the design aesthetics, the Scrambler comes with the hardware to take on some off-roading. The telescopic fork and twin shocks deliver a respectable 150mm and 130mm of suspension travel, at the front and rear, respectively. Ground clearance is quite generous too, at 200mm. The block-pattern MRF Zapper Kurve tyres and 19-inch/17-inch wire-spoke wheels also help its off-road ability. Braking duties are undertaken by ABS-equipped Discs measuring 320mm in the front and 240mm in the rear.

The Yezdi Scrambler is available in two variants: Single tone and Dual tone. The single-tone variant comes in three shades – Fire Orange, Outlaw Olive, and Yelling Yellow, while the dual-tone variant gets Midnight Blue, Rebel Red, and Mean Green.

Yezdi Scrambler: Features

Standard equipment on the Scrambler includes an LED headlight and tail lamp, fully-digital LCD instrumentation with a gear position indicator and a handlebar-mounted USB charger. On the safety front, it gets dual-channel ABS with three modes – road, rain and off-road. So, all in all, it’s a reasonably feature-rich motorcycle.

The Yezdi Scrambler gets a fuel tank capacity of 12.5 liters and a kerb weight of 182 kg.

Yezdi Scrambler: Expected Price

Expect the Yezdi Scrambler to be roughly priced around Rs 8 Lakh – Rs 8.50 Lakh in the Nepalese market.
