Yamaha Nepal Launches the RayZR 125 Hybrid Scooter In Nepal

Yamaha Nepal has launched the Ray ZR 125 Hybrid in the Nepalese market at a price of Rs 2,79,900 for the drum brake variant. The RayZR 125 Hybrid comes in four trims: Standard, Deluxe and Premium/premium plus.

The all-new Ray ZR 125 Hybrid is powered by a BS-VI compliant, air-cooled, fuel-injected (Fi), 125cc blue core engine that produces a power output of 8 bhp at 6500 RPM and maximum torque of 10.3 Nm @ 5000 RPM. The engine is paired with a Smart Motor Generator (SMG) system that includes an electric motor for power assist while accelerating from a stop. The hybrid powertrain also offers power assist on uphill climbs.

The scooter also gets an automatic start/stop system, Unified Braking System (UBS), and a side-stand engine cut-off switch.

Commenting on the launch, Raju Chettri, CEO of Yamaha Nepal, expressed his excitement about the RayZR 125 Hybrid series, stated, “After the successful launch of the Aerox, the ultimate scooter biking, Yamaha Nepal is proud to introduce Nepal’s first-ever hybrid scooter, the RayZR 125 Hybrid. This remarkable offering combines power, style, and safety, further enhancing our commitment to providing cutting-edge products to our valued customers.
