2023 Kia Seltos Launched In India With Three Engine Options, ADAS 2.0 And More Safety Features

The 2023 Kia Seltos facelift has made its debut in India. The new Seltos gets a revised exterior design, an updated interior and a host of other features. The all-new Kia Seltos is offered in three powertrains and five transmission options. There are three trim options -X-line, GT-line and Tech line.

The powertrain options include a 1.5-litre, 115hp/144NM, petrol engine, a 1.5-litre, 116hp/250Nm, turbo-diesel engine, and a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 160hp and 253Nm of torque. The 1.5-litre petrol gets a 6-speed manual or a CVT, the turbo-diesel is offered with a 6-speed iMT and a 6-speed automatic, while the new engine comes mated to a 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

The 2023 Seltos features a refreshed front fascia, redesigned bumper, new skid plate, LED tail lights, and 18-inch glossy black alloy wheels (GT and X-Line). The rear bumper also includes faux skid plates and faux dual exhaust tips. Similarly, the Seltos facelift also gets a new colour option – Pewter Olive.  The 2023 Seltos is offered with eight matte graphite colours and two dual-tone colours.

Inside the cabin, the new Seltos now gets a panoramic dashboard display, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control ambient mood lighting, air purifier, and more. The Seltos facelift also gets ADAS Level 2 tech with more than 17 active & passive safety features, a 360-degree camera, an 8-inch heads-up display, an electronic parking brake, rain-sensing wipers and Bose-tuned 8-speaker system with sound mood lamps. It also gets six airbags as standard, a tyre pressure monitoring system, ESC and Hill Assist Control.

The Seltos facelift rivals the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, MG Astor, etc, in the Indian market.
