Bajaj has filed trademark applications for two new names – Pulsar Elan and Pulsar Eleganza. It is known that Bajaj is working on revamping the Pulsar line-up. This process kicked off with the launch of the Pulsar 250 and F250 late last year, and most of the remaining models are expected to follow suit, receiving new engines, underpinnings, and designs.

The engine used in the new quarter-liter Pulsars is expected to be scalable to different displacements and will find its way into more Pulsar models with time. It’s possible that the newly discovered name tags could be used on these upcoming Pulsar models. Alternatively, the new names could be used for special editions of the existing Pulsar models. Or perhaps they will add to the list of names that Bajaj has trademarked but is still yet to use. These include monikers like Fluor, Fluir, Scrambler, and Pacer.
