MAW Vriddhi Autocorp Pvt. Ltd, the sole authorised distributor of Changan Auto in Nepal,has commenced the bookings of the Hunter lifestyle pickup at an introductory price of 75.50 Lakh for its first 30 customers in Nepal.The ‘Hunter’ lifestyle pickup which will be available in both 4WD and 2WD drivetrains will be launched later this month.

The Hunter pickup truck is powered by a 1.9-litre turbo diesel engine that produces 150 hp and 350 Nm of torque. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox.  Complementing the striking exteriors of the Hunter pickup truck is a feature-loaded cabin. In terms of comfort and convenience, the Hunter comes well equipped with electric adjustment seats, keyless entry with push-button start, cruise control, automatic AC, rear ac vents, and a 4.2-inch digital instrument cluster. Infotainment duties are handled by a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with phone mirroring.

Dimensions wise, the Changan Hunter measures 5330mm long, 1930mm wide, and 1835mm high.  The pickup truck has a wheelbase of 3180mm and a ground clearance of 231mm. Similarly, the cargo box measures 1600mm long, 1590mm wide and 510mm high. Changan claims a best-in-class cargo capacity with up to 1 ton and the highest ground clearance. The pickup truck gets a generous fuel tank capacity of 80 litres. It sits on 18-inch alloy wheels.

The Hunter pickup truck gets an array of active and passive safety features like dual airbags, tire pressure monitoring system, electronic stability program, hill start assist control, hill descent control, traction control system, rear parking sensors, and rear camera.
