Honda Unveils Repsol Honda Edition Of Hornet 2.0 & Dio In India

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has unveiled the Repsol Honda limited editions of Hornet 2.0 and Dio. Both machines get Repsol Honda racing team-inspired graphics and design theme with vibrant orange wheel rims to accentuate the design. The two Repsol Honda Limited versions have been introduced to celebrate the continued success of Honda Racing Corporation’s recent 800th MotoGP win. Apart from the cosmetic changes with the new graphics, the mechanicals remains the same.

Speaking about the Honda’s Racing DNA, Mr. Atsushi Ogata, Managing Director, President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd said, “Racing holds a special place in the history of Honda. Since their collaboration, Honda and Repsol have continued the winning streak on the race track and the recent 800th MotoGP win is a testimony of Honda’s racing spirit. Celebrating this achievement, we are delighted to unveil the Repsol Honda editions of Hornet 2.0 and Dio for racing enthusiasts in India.”

The Hornet 2.0 continues to be equipped with the same 184cc engine that produces 17 bhp and 16.1Nm of peak torque and is paired with a five-speed gearbox. The Hornet 2.0 gets an all-LED lighting system that comprises an angular LED headlamp, LED tail lamp, and LED indicators. The bike also gets a muscular 12-litre fuel tank with sharp extensions, a step-up seat, dual-petal disc brakes on both ends, a single-channel ABS system, and a compact muffler to match its athletic appearance.

The Honda Dio, on the other hand, continues to be powered by the same 109cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. It produces 7.6bhp and 9Nm of peak torque, with an automatic transmission. The Dio comes with features like Telescopic Suspension, Engine Start/Stop Switch, Integrated Dual Function Switch, External Fuel Lid, Passing Switch and Side Stand Indicator with Engine Cut-off.

The Dio Repsol Honda Edition starts at INR 69,757 (ex-showroom, Gurgaon, Haryana), while the Hornet 2.0 Repsol Honda Edition starts at INR 1,28,351 (ex-showroom, Gurgaon, Haryana).
