Husqvarna has unveiled the 2024 Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 250 in India, both derived from their corresponding current-gen KTMs.

In terms of design, the new Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 showcases a larger round LED headlight, revamped side panels and a new visor. The side-mounted exhaust has been replaced by a new underbelly setup, like the KTM 390 Duke. The bike also boasts a new trellis frame and an aluminum swingarm, resulting in a longer wheelbase. Even the single-side mounted tyre hugger has been replaced with a proper tail setup.

Under the hood, the 2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 is powered by a 398.6cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, delivering 46bhp at 9,000rpm and 39Nm at 7,000rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and features a bi-directional quickshifter. Like its Austrian sibling, the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 gets ride-by-wire, traction control, Supermoto ABS, a five-inch TFT with optional smartphone connectivity, and a type-C charging port.

The bike rides on adjustable WP Apex USD front forks and an adjustable WP Apex monoshock. The braking setup comprises a 320mm front and a 240mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS. It rolls on 17-inch spoke wheels fitted with 110/70 front and 150/60 rear Pirelli block pattern tires. The Svartpilen 401 comes with a 13.5-litre fuel tank and weighs 171.2kg.

The Vitpilen 250 is powered by the same liquid-cooled, 249cc single-cylinder engine from the KTM 250 Duke, producing 31hp at 9,500rpm and 25Nm at 7,500rpm. While the main frame, suspension, and braking hardware remain largely unchanged, the fuel capacity is slightly reduced to 13.5 liters compared to the 15-litre tank on the 250 Duke.  Despite the smaller tank, the Husqvarna counterpart is 1kg heavier.

The Vitpilen features a 5-inch LCD dash with switchgear borrowed from its KTM counterpart. In addition to the electronics found on the 250 Duke, it incorporates a traction control system, and all-LED lighting is standard.
