A road safety film festival is being organized by the Global Alliance of NGOs for Road Safety, FIA Foundation and other various organizations in collaboration with the NASA Foundation Nepal on January 16, 2023. The theme for this year is ‘Motorcycling Safety’.

The film festival will screen films related to road safety, safe riding and the importance of helmets. Interested participants will have to pitch their film concept by December 30, 2022. A total of ten films that have gone through different stages of discussion, orientation and construction will be included in the competition. The selected films will be screened at Durbar Cinemax in Durbar Mall, Kathmandu.

There will also be an award ceremony, felicitation program and interaction on various topics related to road safety and security.

This is the third time the NASA Foundation is hosting a road safety film festival in the capital.
