Nepali Racer Yukesh Thapa Departs For Philippines To Compete in ACRR Racing

A two-member Nepali team has left for the Philippines to participate in the final round of the Asia Cup of Road Racing (ACRR) to be held from December 13 to 18 under the Asian Motorcycle Federation (FIM Asia).

Nepalese rider Ukesh Thapa and Secretary of Nepal Automobiles Association Binod Tandukar have left for this round as officials. Dasrath Risal, President of Nepal Automobiles Association, Anil Kumar Baral, Vice President and Head of Motorcycle Commission, Yaduraj Lamichhane, Chief of Marshall Commission, Krishna Poudel, Head of Athletes Commission, riders’ parents and players of Motorsports Nepal Club bid farewell to the Nepalese team today.

Riders from ten countries of the Asian continent will present their skills in the 200 cc motorcycle race to be held at Tarlac Circuit Hill Track in San Jose, Tarlac, Philippines. The 1.5km long and 12-15 meters wide track will have 15 turns. Along with Nepal, riders from Japan, India, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, Iran, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and China will participate in the competition.
