The Ministry of Environment has warned that vehicles that fail to provide the updated pollution test stickers will be slapped with a heavy fine. Those vehicles with outdated stickers, or in worse condition still have the time to maintain their vehicles and apply for the test. However, after Poush 1 (December 16) such vehicles will be fined according to their condition.

Not only that, your vehicle can be inspected and possibly fined based on your emissions at any given place or time even if you do have the updated pollution inspection passed sticker. So this is a reminder to always keep your vehicle in its optimal condition.

Apart from that, the department has also requested people to stop burning garbage openly and has encouraged them to report such incidents if they’re happening in their neighborhood.
