MV Dugar Group Conducts A Nationwide Charity Drive On The Occassion of Chairman’s Birthday

To celebrate the 75th birthday of Chairman Motilal Dugar, MV Dugar Group recently conducted a nationwide blood donation, eye camp, tree plantation, scholarship and food donation program.

Kicking off the first phase celebrations, MV Dugar Group conducted a massive blood donation drive across the country. The group collected 666 units of blood from its various branch offices.

Similarly, a free eye camp was organized by MV Dugad in Solukhumbu and Ramechhap districts. The camp was organized at 6 different places including Dugar Group / Hydro Division, and Kinja City Housing. A total of 950 people underwent eye check-ups at the camp, out of which 60 underwent successful cataract surgery and 3 had successful eye surgery. Chairman Dugad himself stayed in the camp for two nights and observed and monitored the camp.

Moreover, all the employees of MV Dugar Group also organized a massive tree planting program across the country. From the company’s branches across Nepal, 2735 plants including Mango, Banana, Lychee, Amla, Asoka, Bay Leaf, Neem, Pepper, Camphor, Papaya, Dhupi, Malaysian Sal, Pomegranate, Sarifa, Rudraksha, Sapatu and others were planted across various public places. The first phase of tree planting was done at schools, temple premises, roadsides, within Kathmandu and Hetauda Industrial Area premises, Doleshwar Mahadev and all branches of MV Dugar.

Furthermore, on the eve of the birth anniversary, 64 old women of the Human Services Ashram in Birgunj were fed by the MV Dugar Group.

Mr. Vivek Dugar, Vice-President, MV Dugar Group on the occasion of his father’s birthday, announced scholarships for 25 students to pursue higher education.The first phase of the birth anniversary of Chairman Motilal Dugar was celebrated in a safe manner all over the country by bearing social and environmental responsibilities

MV Dugar Group says that such events and activities will be organized throughout the year, and the conglomerate will focus on social programs rather than conducting unnecessary parties and gatherings.
